Services / AI Operating Model / Approach
Our approach: in seven steps to the AI operating model
Structured, data-based and geared to measurable impact.
Seven steps from assessment to operation
We proceed step by step and begin where the value contribution is greatest. Each step delivers a result you can use right away.
Typical mistake in practice: introducing tools before structure, responsibility and rules are clarified.
Assessment
Where does your company use AI today, in which workflows, with which responsibility? We capture the current state, goals and expectations.
Result: starting point and maturity picture
Workflow map
We make the value-creating workflows visible and prioritize them by impact, feasibility and risk.
Result: prioritized workflow map
Target picture and autonomy
We develop the target picture and define per workflow what AI executes, what it supports and what stays with people.
Result: target picture and autonomy levels
Designing the elements
Organization, roles, skills, governance, metrics and technology are designed along the workflows.
Result: target operating model
Piloting
Selected workflows run in the new model. We test impact, acceptance and risks.
Result: validated pilots, lessons learned
Scaling
Successful patterns are transferred to further workflows, roles are staffed and capabilities built.
Result: roll-out plan, staffed roles
Operation and steering
Metrics, governance rhythm and continuous improvement ensure that the operating model works.
Result: steering framework in operation
Would you like to align your operating model with AI?
We are glad to discuss with you where AI can create impact in your organization – and which structures, roles and rules are needed for it.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long does an AI operating model project take?

Who should be involved on the client side?
Ideally the management board as sponsor, owners of the affected workflows and representatives from IT, data and business units.
